URBANA, Md. – Binghamton's golf season continued this weekend at the Carpetbagger Classic. The two-day tournament, which was hosted by Colgate and held at the Worthington Manor Golf Club, concluded on Sunday. The Bearcats finished 10th out of the 14 teams in the field.

D.J. Griffiths and
Justin Lane were Binghamton's top individual finishers in the event, tying for 32nd place overall with a 155/+11 over par.
There were 81 finishers in the tournament.
Rhode Island won the team championship with a score of 583/+4 over par. Medalist honors were split between Jamie Julve of Fairleigh Dickinson and Brandon Gillis of Rhode Island, both of whom finished with a score of 143/-1 under par.
Binghamton returns to the state of Maryland next weekend for the Battle at Rum Point. The two-day event, which will be hosted by Iona, will be held in Berlin, Md.
