Women's tennis drops finale at Cornell

ITHACA, N.Y. - Binghamton women's tennis dropped its season finale at Cornell Wednesday afternoon, losing 7-0 at Reis Tennis Center.  

The top doubles team of freshmen Caterina Casadei and Maria Pereira posted a 6-1 win before the Big Red rallied for the doubles point. Cornell then swept all six singles matches. Sophomore No. 4 Abby Ackroyd won her opening set 7-5 before falling in a third-set super tiebreak, 10-8.
