Evin Sullivan led an 11-hit attack with three hits and two RBI to pace Binghamton baseball (5-17, 2-7 America East) in a 7-1 win over visiting Albany (14-10, 4-5 AE) Sunday afternoon at the Bearcats Baseball Stadium. The win in the series finale was BU's first at its new complex.
Binghamton scored two runs in each of the first, third and seventh innings and added a final run in the ninth. Albany snapped the shutout with a single run in the seventh.Â
Sullivan went 3-for-5 with two RBI, raising his team-best average to .343. The first-year talent hit .455 in the weekend series (5-for-11) and is hitting a team-high .387 in conference play.

Kevin Reilly went 3-for-5 with a two-out RBI double. Freshman center fielder

Isaiah Corry each collected two hits and an RBI.
On the hill, Bryggman was sharp, limiting the Great Danes to three hits (all singles) and amassing seven strikeouts. Sophomore reliever

Cavan Tully opened the game with a walk and moved to third on successive groundouts. Sullivan then pulled an RBI single through the left side to make it 1-0. After a walk to freshman second baseman
Nick Roselli, Reilly ripped an RBI double inside the third base bag, plating Sullivan with BU's second run.Â

Devan Bade opened with a walk and went to second on a groundout. Sullivan then delivered an RBI single to make it 3-0. A fourth run scored in an Albany infield throwing error. After three scoreless middle innings, the Bearcats added two more runs in the seventh. Sullivan led off with a single and with one out, Reilly singled, putting runners on first and third. Colin Mason brought in a fifth run with a groundout and Corry made it 6-0 with a two-out RBI single.Â
After Albany broke up the shutout with a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh, BU finished the scoring with a two-out, RBI single by Haskell in the ninth.Â
The Bearcats head to Olean on Tuesday for a non-conference game at St. Bonaventure. Â
