Natalia Aruj captured a singles title for the second straight time, pacing Binghamton women's tennis at the Army Invitational.
Aruj rolled to five straight wins, capped with a 7-5, 6-7 (1), 10-8 thriller in the "B" singles title match against Maggie Gehrig of Villanova. In the semifinals, she rolled to a straight-set win over an opponent from Stony Brook. Aruj also teamed with freshman
Loren Cuomo for a pair of wins in the top doubles flight. Â
Aruj is now 9-0 to start the fall season.Â
Binghamton next competes at the ITA Northeast Regional, hosted by Princeton beginning on Friday.
