VESTAL, N.Y. — Marc Pitarch Bayot finished with two goals and two assists, powering No. 25 Bryant (13-1-2, 3-1-2 AE) to a 5-0 victory over Binghamton (4-9-2, 2-2-2 AE) in an America East men's soccer game on Saturday evening at the Bearcats Sports Complex. The match marked the Bearcats' annual Senior Day Game, with Jack Green, Markos Touroukis, Anthony Lazaridis, Devin Heanue and Michael Bush forming this year's graduating class.

The first goal for the Bulldogs was scored by Inigo Villaldea from a pass by Pitarch Bayot in the sixth minute. Eight minutes later, Bayot ran down the field to score his own unassisted goal. He added another unassisted goal in the 37th minute.

Bryant recorded two more goals in the second half within a span of two minutes. Jonas Lyshoj scored in the 77th minute with an assist from Bayot. In the 79th minute, Luis Fernando Paul passed the ball to Vicente Valor Martinez, who scored the final goal of the match.

The Bulldogs outshot the Bearcats 12-8 and held a 6-2 shot-on-goal advantage.

Binghamton travels to UMBC on Tuesday for the final match of the regular season at 7 p.m.

NOTES: Bryant is the fifth nationally-ranked team that the Bearcats faced this season. Binghamton met then top-ranked Syracuse on Aug. 28, No. 19 New Hampshire (Sept. 23), No. 18 Hofstra (Sept. 26) and No. 22 Vermont (Oct. 14) … prior to the match, the Bearcats held their annual Senior Day ceremony to honor the aforementioned members of its graduating class.
