BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Visiting Colgate took a hotly-contested doubles point and then swept the six singles matches to defeat Binghamton women's tennis 7-0 Sunday afternoon at the Lane-Starke Tennis Center.

Lara Kaplan each battled her opponent in a tight match in singles, with Aruj coming up just short in a third-set super tiebreak, 6-7 (5), 6-2, 10-8.Â
The Bearcats next begin a busy three-match weekend on Friday with a dual at Buffalo. Binghamton then hosts Siena on Saturday at the LSTC before heading to New York City for a Sunday tilt at Columbia.Â
