Women's tennis drops match at Columbia

Bearcats next compete Friday at Wagner

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Host Columbia grabbed the doubles point and won the first four completed singles matches to post a 5-0 victory over visiting Binghamton women's tennis Sunday afternoon at Columbia Tennis Center. It was the third match in three days - two on the road - for the Bearcats, who are battling injuries throughout their lineup. 

Sophomore No. 1 Natalia Aruj was leading 6-5 in a tight battle at the top spot when the matches were halted after the team result was clinched. 

The Bearcats continue their spring season Friday at Wagner on Staten Island.
