STORY LINES

- Binghamton (20-12) swept Bryant this past weekend, taking 17-2, 3-0 and 8-0 decisions. Freshman shortstop Akira Kopec led the Bearcats with a .714 batting average (5-for-7) against the Bulldogs. Junior first baseman Allison L'Amoreaux went 4-for-6 (.667) with two doubles, a home run and five RBI. Freshman pitcher Brianna Roberts went 2-0 with a 1.15 ERA while graduate student pitcher Sophia Pappas posted a perfect 0.00 ERA in nine innings of work.

- The Bearcats enter the doubleheader against Syracuse having won six out of their last eight games. At home this season, Binghamton is 4-1.

- Redshirt sophomore designated player Lindsey Walter leads the Bearcats and ranks third in the nation with a .500 batting average. She is also No. 12 with a .556 on-base percentage. Sophomore outfielder Laney Harbaugh is No. 30 with 0.58 stolen bases per game while Pappas is No. 47 with 8.4 strikeouts per contest.

- Redshirt sophomore third baseman Brianna Santos is third in the America East with a .375 batting average, is first with 29 RBI and second with a .591 slugging percentage. Sophomore outfielder Sarah Rende – who belted a grand slam against Bryant – is tied fourth in the conference with 21 RBI and is tied with Santos for second with eight doubles.

- Pappas is third in the America East with a 2.36 ERA, followed by Roberts in fourth place (2.51). Roberts is also second with nine wins and third with 87 strikeouts.

- Syracuse (14-21-1) lost two out of three games at North Carolina this past weekend. Madelyn Lopez leads the Orange with a .341 batting average so far this season while Kelly Breen has three home runs and 14 RBI.

- Syracuse leads the all-time series 19-2, having swept the past four meetings. Most recently, the Orange won 14-0 at the Bearcats Sports Complex on April 23, 2019. Binghamton's last win in the series was a 2-1 walk-off win at home back on May 3, 2016.
