VESTAL, N.Y. – The America East Conference has released its 2022-23 Fall and Spring Academic Honor Rolls and Binghamton has landed 305 total selections.

Honor Roll recognition is bestowed to student-athletes who obtain a semester grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 higher during their competition season, while Commissioner's Honor Roll is reserved for student-athletes who earn a 3.5 GPA or greater.

The Fall Honor Roll includes the sports of soccer, volleyball and cross country. The Bearcats posted 85 Honor Roll selections, which represented 85 percent of its eligible student-athletes that competed in those sports. Fifty-nine of the Bearcat honorees also earned Commissioner's Honor Roll status.

The Spring Honor Roll includes basketball, swimming & diving, track & field, lacrosse, baseball and softball. There were 220 Binghamton selections – good for 68 percent of all eligible student-athletes. In addition, 158 of them earned Commissioner Honor Roll status.

Binghamton excelled across the board in the classroom during the 2022-23 academic year. The Bearcat student-athletes posted a 3.37 overall GPA in during the fall semester and a 3.42 GPA this past spring semester.

The Bearcats also landed 267 selections on the Binghamton Athletic Director's (AD) Honor Roll during the Fall 2022 semester (64 percent) as well as 280 selections to the Spring AD Honor Roll (68 percent). The AD Honor Rolls include all teams within the Binghamton Athletic Department.
