VESTAL, N.Y. (BUBearcats.com) - The Binghamton University volleyball team will host Colgate University for a midweek match-up Tuesday night, Sept. 25. Start time is slated for 6 p.m. in BU's West Gym.

The contest will be streamed on ESPN+ here and can be followed through live stats here. Apart from the Bearcats' match-up at Manhattan, Nov. 8, the game will be the Bearcats final non-conference competition of the season before opening up America East play at NJIT, Friday, 6 p.m.

BU currently leads the conference in blocks with 115 total for an average of 2.25 per set. The Bearcats also sit atop the America East in service aces with 2.08 per set and 106 total. Those stats rank Binghamton top-20 in the nation in aces per set and total team aces.

As individuals, Tsvetelina Ilieva owns the top spot in the America East in kills per set with 3.94 and 201 total and total points at an average of 4.70 per set and 239.5 total. Misa Dlouha leads the conference in blocks as well with 56 and 1.10 per set.

After an eight-day off stretch, Binghamton is looking to bounce back from a 0-3 performance at the UConn Dog Pound Challenge. BU dropped two, five-set matches against Brown and UConn before falling to Michigan State in four.

Ilieva collected 51 kills, 24 kills and six blocks for 55.5 points in three matches for Binghamton at UConn. She registered her sixth double-double of the season against Brown with 14 kills and 10 digs. Ilieva recorded 20+ kills with 23 successful attack attempts in a five set match against Connecticut.

Ella Schabort added to the BU total with 25 kills, seven digs and six aces for 30 points in three matches for Binghamton at the invitational. The Australian posted double-digit kills for the seventh time this season with 12 at .257 against Brown Saturday afternoon.

First-year libero Brenda Reynaga also notched a career-high 28 digs in the Bearcats' five set match against UConn while recording a team-best three aces versus Michigan State.

Colgate is wrapping up its non-conference play against the Bearcats Tuesday. The Raiders are rolling into the contest on an eight-match winning streak, most recently dispatching Navy 3-2 and Loyola 3-0 last weekend in Hamilton.

Colgate leads the all-time series against Binghamton, 11-9, and has won the last four head-to-head competitions including last season's 3-1 loss on the road Oct. 12.
