VESTAL, N.Y. — Redshirt sophomore guard Ella Wanzer and junior forward Genevieve Coleman scored 24 and 19 points respectively, leading Binghamton (7-12, 2-4 AE) to a 73-63 victory over New Hampshire (8-12, 2-5 AE) in an America East women's basketball game on Thursday Evening at Dr. Bai Lee Court at the Events Center. The victory was the second straight for the Bearcats.

The 73 points tied the Bearcats highest scoring total of the season, which they recorded two other times this season. Binghamton also racked up a season-best 25 assists and shot a season-best 56.0 percent from the floor (28-of-50). In the process, the Bearcats canned 11 three-point field goals.

Redshirt sophomore guard Jadyn Weltz, meanwhile, filled up the stat sheet with eight points, six rebounds, eight assists and a pair of steals. The game high in assists, however, belonged to sophomore guard Meghan Casey, who dished out nine helpers.

Binghamton got the separation early, going on a 15-2 run in a span of 5:27 to go up 22-7 with 1:44 left in the first period.. During that stretch, Wanzer and Coleman each netted six points.

From there, the Bearcats built a 44-28 halftime lead. Binghamton shot 60.7% (17-for-28) in the first half.

Throughout the second half, the Bearcats maintained a double-digit lead.
