Bearcats set up for continued success with next talented freshman class

VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton women's soccer has signed nine recruits for 2025, head coach Neel Bhattacharjee announced on Thursday.

Coming off another standout season that yielded a seven-game unbeaten streak and a third straight America East semifinal appearance, the Bearcats continued to reinforce their roster with the addition of Sam Brett (Wall Township, N.J.), Mackenzie Brotherston (Lanoka Harbor, N.J.), Bella Grace Dunn (Lawrenceville, Ga.), Adriana Georgette (Hawthorne, N.Y.), Sydney Krempasky (Hillsborough, N.J.), Grace McCasland (Plattsburgh, N.Y.), Gwen McManus (Tarrytown, N.Y.), Samantha Shroeder (Ashburn, Va.) and Ale Victoriano (East Setauket, N.Y.).

The newcomers join a BU program that has made six consecutive postseason trips, including two championship game appearances. The program has lost just seven conference games in its last five seasons (win percentage of 71%).

"Our program is thrilled to be adding these nine student-athletes to our Bearcats family," Bhattacharjee said. "Our staff took its time to recruit high-caliber athletes from strong club programs to bring in an impactful class. Each player addresses positional needs of our program next season and beyond as we strive to annually compete for championships. They all individually possess high character and will represent Binghamton in a first-class manner. We look forward to having all of them join our team in August and make a mark on the field, the classroom, and community."
