Binghamton will look to channel its inner 2006 Bearcats, who upended Miami 79-74 in a win that drew national attention. The Bearcats, in their sixth season as a Division I program, scheduled the Hurricanes as a homecoming for senior Miami native Duane James. But it was NYC native and shooting guard Richard Forbes who stole the spotlight with his 27-point, three-steal performance. It remains the program's biggest regular-season win in its 24-year Division I history. Former NBA coach Stan Van Gundy (college teammate of former BU coach Al Walker) gave the team a pregame pep talk and it clearly worked.

Florida Homecoming
The trip to Miami will be a Florida homecoming for senior guard Chris Walker (West Palm Beach) and sophomore Max Sims (Tampa). In addition, sophomore Gavin Walsh spent a postgraduate year at IMG Academy in Bradenton.
