Women’s Tennis Downed at Colgate, 6-1

Binghamton hosts Senior Day, Sunday, at the Lane-Starke Tennis Center

Box Score SYRACUSE, N.Y. (BUBearcats.com) - The Binghamton women's tennis team (1-14, 1-4) fell 6-1 on the road to Colgate (6-5) Friday morning inside Drumlins Country Club. 

Loren Cuomo claimed the sole singles victory for the Bearcats, defeating the Raiders Amelia Galin, 6-2, 7-6 (2), in the first slot. 

The doubles pairing of Samantha Jaros and Nitya Vyas also took home a win, taking down Colgate's third doubles team, 7-6 (3). 

Next up, BU hosts Hamilton this Sunday, March 3, at the Lane-Starke Tennis Center. Binghamton will honor graduating members Abby Ackroyd and Lara Kaplan before the 12 p.m. start time.
