STORY LINES
- Binghamton (17-10, 1-2 AE) swept a home doubleheader against Le Moyne on Tuesday, winning by scores of 2-0 and 13-3 (5 innings). Sophomore pitcher

Bella Farina was 4-for-6 (.667) during the doubleheader, homered, scored four times and drove in three runs. Freshman catcher
Elisa Allen, meanwhile, was 2-for-4 with a home run and team-best five RBI on the day.

- On the mound, Roberts and L'Amoreaux are tied for first in the conference with six victories each. Roberts also ranks second with 70 strikeouts and seventh with a 2.74 ERA. She is also first with three saves. L'Amoreaux is fourth with 64 strikeouts while sophomore pitcher
Olivia Kennedy is tied for second with a pair of saves.
- As a team, Binghamton ranks No. 29 in the nation with 1.74 doubles per game. Individually, Santos ranks No. 22 with 0.41 doubles per game. Roberts' three saves, meanwhile, ranks No. 22 in the nation.
- UMBC (14-9, 3-0 AE) is the four-time America East champions and has won its past seven games. The Retrievers are coming off a three-game sweep over visiting Maine last weekend, winning by scores of 8-2, 12-4 (5) and 4-2 (9).
- Emily Riggs, who has hit .588 over the past six games for UMBC is the current America East Player of the Week. Kya Matter is the conference's Pitcher of the Week, having won her past four decisions. UMBC also has the current America East Rookie of the Week in Ella Squaires.
- Squaires ranks first in the America East with a .434 batting average. She is also first with 15 walks and an .800 on-base percentage. Riggs, meanwhile, ranks second with 24 RBI and is tied for second with five home runs. Matter, meanwhile, has struck out a conference-best 74 batters and is tied for fourth with five victories.
- As a team, UMBC ranks No. 40 in the nation with 1.57 doubles per game. Individually, Riggs ranks No. 36 with 1.13 RBI per game.Â
- As a team, Binghamton is third in the America East in both hitting (.279) and pitching (3.72 ERA). The Bearcats also continue to lead the conference in fielding percentage (.365). UMBC, meanwhile, is first in pitching (2.80 ERA), second in hitting (.297) and fifth in fielding (.952).
- Binghamton leads the all-time series against UMBC 35-28 but the Retrievers have won the past four meetings. Last year in Baltimore, the Retrievers swept a three-game conference series April 1-2 – all by scores of 3-2. The Bearcats last took a series from UMBC in 2018, when they won two out of three games.
