NEW YORK –
Liam Ferris scored three goals for his third hat trick of the season as the Binghamton men's lacrosse team (2-4) fell to St. John's (2-6) Saturday at Belson Stadium.
With his three goals, Ferris is now tied with
Matthew Keegan for the team lead in goals with 13.
Gage Adams, who scored twice on Saturday, is second with 12. St. John's, meanwhile, got four goals from Bobby Seel, all of which came in the second half. Caleb Zuhoski and Jake Wright each added two more for the Red Storm. On the other end of the field, goalie Kyle Munson made 15 saves against the Bearcats.
Other Notes
- Connor Winters, who made 12 saves in goal for Binghamton, was also tied for second on the team in ground balls with three along with Colin Delay. Ross Chazanow led the team with five while winning nine faceoffs.
- Ferris' second goal of the game, which came at the 6:48 mark in the second quarter, was with the Bearcats up a man. With that strike, Binghamton extended its streak of games with at least one goal on the man advantage to 10 games dating back to 2023.
- Anthony Bilello caused a career-high two turnovers and collected three ground balls in his third career start. Delay and Declan Ferris also caused two turnovers each during the game.
