SMITHFIELD, R.I. Bryant (21-11, 10-1 America East) built an early lead and held visiting Binghamton baseball (13-17, 3-8 AE) to five hits in a 10-2 win Saturday afternoon at Conaty Park.
The Bearcats scored a run in the third inning to trim their deficit to 3-1 but couldn't capitalize with runners on base throughout the game (1-for-16) and dropped their second straight to the first-place Bulldogs.
Bryant stretched a 4-1 lead with three runs in each of the sixth and seventh innings. The Bearcats scored the game's final run in the ninth on an RBI sacrifice fly by junior second baseman

Logan Haskell had two hits and drove in BU's first run with a third-inning RBI single through the right side. The hit scored Roselli, who doubled into the right field corner with one out. Â
