BOSTON, Mass. – Kendall Bennett has been named America East Player of the Week, per league announcement Wednesday morning.

The Philadelphia, Pa. native averaged a double-double (18 points, 12 rebounds) in Binghamton's final non-conference games of the season at the FDU Christmas Classic.

Bennett notched her fifth double-double of the season with 21 points (career high) and 15 rebounds in a 62-51 victory over host school FDU. Bennett's efforts helped break FDU's 21-game home streak, dating back to February 2024. She then followed up with 15 points and 9 rebounds in the championship against Penn.

The junior forward was named to the FDU Christmas Classic All-Tournament Team for her two-game performances. She also accumulated two blocks and two assists and made 10 free throws in the tournament.

This is Bennett's first career AE Player of the Week accolade and the second Bearcat to win Player of the Week this season (Bella Pucci, Nov. 2025).

Bennett and the Bearcats prepare for their first AEC matchup of the season when they take on NJIT in the New Year on Saturday, Jan. 3 at 1 p.m.
