Women’s Tennis Drops Contest to Stonehill

Box Score BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (binghamtonbearcats.com) - Binghamton Women's Tennis (1-4, 0-4) dropped a 6-1 conference contest to Stonehill (5-2, 2-0), Sunday afternoon inside the Lane-Starke Tennis Center. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 
Nitya Vyas and Loren Cuomo picked up their second straight win as a doubles team, 6-3, in the third slot. Stonehill clinched the doubles decision with two competitive victories, 7-6 (2), and 7-5, respectively, at first and second doubles. 

The Skyhawks captured the team win with three straight-set victories at first, sixth and fifth singles, respectively. 

Samantha Jaros notched the Bearcats sole win at No. 4 singles, 6-0, 7-5. The sophomore is 2-1 in NEC singles play for Binghamton this spring.
