Women’s Tennis Defeated by Rider, 5-2

Castellano and Pedraza Palacios earn sole wins for Bearcats in final two singles slots

Box Score LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. (binghamtonbearcats.com) - Binghamton Women's Tennis (4-8, 1-4) fell to Rider (4-5, 2-0), 5-2, Wednesday afternoon on the road. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 
Rider recorded wins in the top two doubles positions to establish an early 1-0 lead. 

The Broncs earned two more victories at No. 1 and No. 4 singles before Julia Pedraza Palacios picked up a straight-set win in the final spot to make the contest 3-1. Rider clinched the team decision with two more victories at second and third singles. 

Kayla Castellano came back to win the final match of the afternoon in three-sets to finalize the 5-2 victory for the Broncs.
