Women’s Tennis Blanks Merrimack, 7-0

Bearcats earn dominant victory over former NEC foe

Box Score NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. (binghamtonbearcats.com) - Binghamton Women's Tennis (5-8, 1-4) blanked former NEC opponent Merrimack (1-6, 0-3), 7-0, Saturday afternoon at North Andover High School. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 
Binghamton swept doubles action to gain an early 1-0 lead over Merrimack. 

After Samantha Jaros and Nitya Vyas picked up singles wins to bring the advantage to 3-0, Caterina Casadei clinched the team victory for the second time in two weeks with a straight-set win at No. 2 singles. Loren Cuomo, Kayla Castellano and Julia Pedraza Palacios added dominant singles performances to sweep the Warriors, 7-0.
