Bearcats and Raiders square off Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. in non-conference DH

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (29-12) swept UMBC in a three-game conference series this past weekend, winning by scores of 5-1, 8-6 and 5-1. Junior first baseman Emma Lawson hit a team-best .600 (6-for-10) during the three games with three doubles and five runs scored. Sophomore catcher Elisa Allen homered three times and drove in six runs while junior pitcher Brianna Roberts was 2-0 with 22 strikeouts and a 1.00 ERA.

- Lawson, Allen and Roberts are at the top of the stat rankings in the America East. Lawson is batting a conference-best .392, is first with 13 doubles, ranks second with 39 RBI and is third with both a .438 on-base percentage and .604 slugging percentage. Allen is first with 18 home runs, 43 RBI, a .793 slugging percentage and a 1.181 OPS. Roberts, meanwhile, is 16-2 with a 2.02 ERA. She leads the America East in both wins and ERA and is second with 130 strikeouts.

- Allen's 18 home runs is the third-highest total in America East Conference history. She trails only Melanie Denischuck of UMBC (24 in 2006) and Bria Green of Stony Brook (19 in 2015).

- Roberts' 16 wins is the fourth-highest, single-season total in Binghamton program history. Amanda Schilling won 19 games in 1994 while Charlene Cook racked up 18 victories in both 1995 and 1997.

- With one more victory this season, Binghamton will record back-to-back seasons with 30+ wins. The Bearcats finished the 2024 campaign 33-18.

- Colgate (18-28) swept visiting Holy Cross in a three-game series this past weekend, winning by scores of 8-1, 6-1 and 3-2. Mikala Ham - the Patriot League Pitcher of the Week - recorded a pair of wins against the Crusaders.

- Binghamton leads the all-time series against Colgate 20-16. Last season, the two teams split a doubleheader on April 24 at the Bearcats Sports Complex. The Bearcats won the opener 3-1 but the Raiders won a 12-10 slugfest in the nightcap.
