HOW IT HAPPENED
Binghamton and Vermont traded scores to start the afternoon before Emma Blloshmi went back-to-back to give the Bearcats a 3-1 lead at the end of the first quarter.

The Catamounts recorded another to open the second quarter down by one until Olivia Muscolino put up her own back-to-back goals for Binghamton. Vermont scored once more to end the first half 5-3 in favor of the Bearcats.

Vermont netted two quick scores coming out of the locker room to tie up the contest at five apiece. Binghamton then reclaimed a 8-6 edge with two scores from Abigail Carroll and Muscolino before the Catamounts leveled the playing field once again with two goals in the final minutes of the third quarter.

Tied 8-8 heading into the fourth quarter, Binghamton rallied to score four unanswered goals from Blloshmi, Mia Forte and Marisa Tancredi to claim a 12-8 victory.
