VESTAL, N.Y. - The America East announced its 2025 baseball all-conference teams and award winners Tuesday afternoon and Binghamton was well represented. The Bearcats led the league with five first team selections, and added a second team honoree, two All-Rookies and two on the All-Academic Team. The selections come one day before the third-seeded Bearcats begin their postseason with an elimination game against No. 6 UMBC in Orono, Maine. 

Binghamton blanketed the first team as senior DH Evin Sullivan, senior third baseman Devan Bade, senior utility player Zach Rogacki, graduate first baseman Freddy Forgione and freshman center fielder Matt Bolton gave the Bearcats half of the entire position-player unit. Sophomore starting pitcher Hayden Tarsia was chosen to the second team, giving Binghamton six all-conference selections - equaling their most in the last nine years. 

In addition, Bolton and freshman pitcher Brady Bouchard were named to the All-Rookie Team, and Bade and Rogacki represented Binghamton on the All-Academic Team.

Sullivan now becomes a three-time first team all-conference selection, joining an elite list of Bearcats who were voted best at their position three years (Brendon Hitchcock, Zach Groh, Jake Thomas). Sullivan was chosen at the DH position but has also made 22 starts at catcher. He ranks second in the conference in home runs (12), fifth in slugging (.601) and sixth in RBI (42), doubles (14) and OPS (1.030). Sullivan will close his outstanding career among the program's all-time top-10 in hits (198), runs (123), on-base percentage (.407), slugging (.531), RBI (125), doubles (45) and home runs (25). He leads the Bearcats with 13 multi-RBI games and enters the postseason with 10 RBI in his last nine games.    

Bade is a repeat selection as the top third baseman in the league. He ranks second in RBI (47) and fifth in hits (61) and is winding down a stellar career that features top-5 standing in Binghamton's record book for hits (220), RBI (135) and home runs (25). Bade has 12 multi-RBI games, including a six-RBI game against Holy Cross on March 14. He has seven hits and six RBI in his last five games. 

Rogacki was a strong candidate for Player of the Year but instead earns selection as the top utility player in the conference. He has played four positions this season (catcher, DH, right field, left field) and has produced an exceptional year offensively and defensively. Rogacki ranks among the America East top-5 in six offensive categories, including hits (63), average (.360), slugging (.629) and OPS (1.073). In his last 40 games, he is hitting .377. 

Forgione has made a splash in his final collegiate season and first as a Bearcat since transferring from SUNY Maritime as a Division III All-American. He ranks second in the conference in OPS (1.080) and fourth in average (.357), home runs (11), slugging (.614) and on-base percentage (.466). In his last 23 games, Forgione is on a tear, batting .388 with nine home runs and 24 RBI. Earlier in the season, he tied a school record with three home runs against UMBC and currently sits tied for the school record having reached base in 32 straight games. 

Bolton produced one of the best freshman seasons in program history and drew strong consideration for Rookie of the Year as its top every day rookie. He leads the entire conference in hits (66) and ranks second in runs (52), sixth in on-base percentage (.450) and seventh in stolen bases (11). After easing into his first collegiate season in February, Bolton is batting .370 over his last 39 games and has reached base in 28 straight. He was the lone freshman position player on the first team.   

Tarsia took over as the Bearcats' No. 1 starter in mid-April and has been one of the most consistent starters in the conference. He has gone 5+ innings in five of his last six starts and has held opponents to two runs or less in four straight starts. He ranks fourth in the America East in ERA (4.34) and sixth in wins (4). Opponents are hitting just .258 off him, fourth-best in the league. 

Bouchard has been a vital contributor, initially as a starter and now as a long reliever. Against conference opponents, Bouchard is 1-0 and has a 5.72 ERA in eight appearances. He struck out eight in a 5-inning outing at Maine on May 10 and in his last game, allowed just one run in 4.0 innings against UAlbany. 

Bade and Rogacki earned further recognition on the All-Academic Team. Bade carries a 3.63 GPA in electrical engineering and Rogacki has a 3.75 GPA in biological sciences.
