Addition of JUCO transfer Zyier Beverly completes Bearcats' roster for 2025-26

VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton head basketball coach Levell Sanders has rounded out his roster for 2025-26 with the signing of 6-foot-9 forward Zyier Beverly (Los Angeles, Calif./George Washington Prep/East Los Angeles College).

Beverly spent last season at East Los Angeles College, where he averaged 10.5 points and 5.3 rebounds for a Huskies team that went 27-3 and was ranked as high as No. 5 among California junior colleges. Beverly shot 54 percent from the field and had 14 games with double-digit points and four double-doubles.

"We are really excited to get a player of Zyier's caliber so late in the recruiting process," Sanders said. "We've had some good pickups and Zyier is another. I like his size, athleticism and the way he can effect the game on both sides of the ball. He brings a lot to the table and will be exciting for our fans to watch."

Beverly played his freshman season at Three Rivers CC in Missouri. He averaged 8.9 points and 4.4 rebounds and registered seven double-doubles. He originally signed with Tennessee State out of high school, where he starred at George Washington Prep. He was ranked among the top 60 forwards in the Class of 2023 and averaged 20 points and eight rebounds for I-Can all-stars on the AAU circuit.

The Bearcats now have their 14-player roster set for 2025-26. It includes returnees Evan Ashe, Jackson Benigni, Jayden Lemond, Wes Peterson, Jr. and Stephan Snagg, along with newcomers Beverly, Jake Blackburn, Nevin Ibroci, Jayden Kelsey, Demetrius Lilley, Jeremiah Quigley, Ryan Richardson, Sayerr Senghore and Bryson Wilson.
