VESTAL, N.Y. - Coming off its second NCAA appearance in the last four years, Binghamton baseball will hold its annual Alumni Day event on Saturday, Sept. 27 at the Bearcats Stadium Complex. The event, in conjunction with Homecoming on campus, will feature food, drinks and batting practice, with golf available earlier in the day.
"Our baseball alumni day is one of my favorite events of the year," 34th-year head coach
Tim Sinicki said. "To see former Bearcats and Colonials back on the field sharing stories and enjoying each others company makes my day. I hope as many guys and their families come back to enjoy the new facility, eat great food, and take a few swings and fungos."
On Sept. 27, the stadium and clubhouse will open at 6 p.m. with snacks and drinks available free of charge. Batting practice starts at 7 p.m. on the field. Those interested in playing golf can contact
Mike Folli (mfolli@binghamton.edu) by Sept. 19.
The 2025 Bearcats rode an unprecedented offensive surge to the program's second America East title in the last four years. Sinicki also drew headlines with his 12th combined conference regular-season and tournament titles - all in the last 18 years. Now the longest current-tenured coach at one school in NCAA Division I baseball, Sinicki was inducted into the Binghamton Baseball Shrine in August - his second Hall of Fame membership.
