Over 60 youth from the area took part in Saturday's event

VESTAL, N.Y. -- Binghamton Athletics hosted its annual Kids Community Day Basketball Clinic on Saturday inside the Events Center, welcoming more than 60 local boys and girls in grades 1–6.

The free clinic, led by the Binghamton men's and women's basketball programs, gave young Bearcats the chance to learn skills, play games, and interact with student-athletes and coaches. Participants rotated through stations focusing on dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and teamwork, all while experiencing the energy of Division I basketball up close.

"Coach Sanders and Coach Grimes have highlighted their focus on giving back to the community, and today's Binghamton Kids Community Day was the perfect showcase of their programs commitment to that goal," said Derrick Bradford, Binghamton's Manager of Game Day Experience "Welcoming our community to the Dr. Bai Lee Court at the Events Center for a free basketball clinic holds steadfast with Athletic Director Eugene Marshall Jr.'s vision for #ONEBinghamton and I am excited to further engage and give back to our community this basketball season."

Both basketball teams took time to connect with the kids, sign autographs and share in the excitement of the upcoming season. The clinic once again highlighted Binghamton's commitment to community engagement and inspiring the next generation of Bearcats.
