Girolamo looked to pull the Bearcats back into the game as he opened the second with his first goal of the game at 12:08, bringing Binghamton to a 5-2 deficit. Dolan countered for the Red Foxes, however, with his second goal of the game at 10:55, with Patrick getting the assist. Meyers began the fourth with his second goal of the day at 13:15. But Binghamton was unable to complete the rally. Mullan picked up right where he left off in the first quarter with his fourth goal of the day at 7:44 to put Marist up 9-5.
