VESTAL, N.Y. – Binghamton women's lacrosse (2-3) was defeated by Le Moyne (3-1) on Wednesday afternoon. Wednesday's matchup was the team's Better Together game. Le Moyne's Maddi Barney scored the game-winning goal in sudden death overtime, securing an 11-10 victory for the Dolphins.
"Disappointed in the outcome today," head coach
Stephanie Allen said. "I think Le Moyne came out really hungry and we just didn't show up and perform to our best ability today."
Binghamton's
Emma Blloshmi opened up the scoring in the first quarter. Le Moyne would go on to tie the game before three unanswered goals by Blloshmi and
Jess Robinson propelled the Bearcats to a 4-1 lead at the end of the first quarter.

The final 10 minutes of regulation started with the Bearcats tying things up at the 12:20 mark with Robinson's third goal of the game. The Dolphins responded less than a minute later, reclaiming the lead at 9-8.
