Women's tennis falls short to LIU in final regular season contest

Box Score BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – Binghamton women's tennis closed out their regular season against LIU on Sunday afternoon. The Bearcats fell in a close 4-3 match.

Doubles pairing Apara Khandare and Adelie Wilson cruised to a 6-0 victory in the No. 3 doubles slot. LIU won matches one and two to claim the doubles point.

Loren Cuomo won in straight sets in her final regular season match of her career, winning 6-4, 6-4 in the top position. The Bearcats claimed points from No. 5 and No. 6 because of LIU forfeiting.

The Sharks would go on to win No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 singles matches to claim the victory.

Binghamton will await to see their seeding for the Northeast Conference Tournament. A three-day tournament in Mercer, N.J. that begins on Thursday, April 16.
