VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton men's soccer program has officially added 10 players to its 2026 roster. The group of newcomers includes six freshmen and four transfers.

"I think we've brought in a well-balanced class that fits the direction of our program and complements the group we already have in place," Interim head coach Tommy Moon said. "Every player in this class brings something different, but they all share the same competitive mindset, strong character and commitment to improving every day. We had a productive spring that showed what this team is capable of, and this class gives us even more depth, competition, and quality. We're excited to get them on campus, get to work and continue pushing this program to the next level."

Jack Costa (Garden City, N.Y.) is a left back from Garden City High School. He helped lead his team to back-to-back state championships - the first ones in program history - during his junior and senior seasons. Costa was recognized as a Newsday Top 100 Player on Long Island prior to his senior campaign. He is also part of the Long Island Soccer Club, which was the runner up at the NAL Championship.

Coach Moon on Costa: "Jack is a left back who provides great size, athleticism and competitive spirit. He is a warrior and has a great will to win. He has good technical ability and is tough in a tackle. He has a great engine to get up and down the line. His competitiveness and fight will help him compete to play as a freshman."

Anninos Nicolaou (Limassol, Cyprus) is a midfielder from the American Academy Limassol. He was part of the Cyprus National Team roster for the U15, U16, U17 and U19 squads. His club team was Apollon Limassol FC of the Cypriot First Division.

Coach Moon on Nicolaou: "Anninos has a great soccer resume with his senior team and international team experience. He is an attacking player who has a lot of pace and quality in the final third. He is an extremely clever player who has a great soccer IQ and technical ability. With his vision and knowledge of the game, he will be a threat in the middle of the park."

Evangelos Chrysostomou (Bayside, N.Y.) is a right back who transfers from Hofstra University. In his first two collegiate seasons, he appeared in 27 matches and recorded four points (one goal and two assists). He was also named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.

Coach Moon on Chrysostomou: "Evan is another player who adds good experience to the squad. Evan joined us this spring from Hofstra and immediately became a staple in the team. He has a great personality, competitive spirit and winning mentality that is infectious. He is versatile and can play in multiple positions. He will look to make an immediate impact in the team this fall."

Natan Admassu (Bonga, Ethiopia) is a goalkeeper who transfers from Mid-America Christian University (MACU). In 2023, he started four matches in goal for Wright State during his freshman campaign.

Coach Moon on Admassu: "Natan is a very unique goalkeeper. As good as he is at shot stopping, he is equally as good with his feet. His confidence and quality on the ball is fantastic and gives the team a new dynamic playing out of the back. He has a great personality and is another player who boosted the team's competitiveness this spring."

Noah Osei-Tutu (Jericho, N.Y.) is a center midfielder from Jericho High School. He has also been part of both the Met Oval MLS NEXT (2022-24) and NYSC MLS NEXT (2024-25) programs. 

Coach Moon on Osei-Tutu: "Noah is a quality player who can play multiple positions. He's very calm and composed on the ball and is great at connecting the game or trying to create things. Noah sees the game well and has good technical ability, and has a little bite to him as well. He will compete to play in midfield or as a winger this fall."

Jona Meiner (Munich, Germany) is a center/left back from Fachoberschule Haar. He played 10 years at the NLZ Youth Academy and was part of the SC Unterfohring Club Team.

Coach Moon on Meiner: "Jona brings a well-rounded skill set. He is athletic, competitive and a natural leader. He is very comfortable on the ball whether it's with his range of passing or on a dribble. He is a very good defender and will compete to play as a center back or left back."

Khayr Ogunsanya (Sicklerville, N.J.) is a center back who transfers from Providence College. He appeared in three matches for the Friars in 2025 and scored once. Ogunsanya was named to the BIG EAST Conference Academic Honor Roll in both 2024-25 and 2025-26.

Coach Moon on Ogunsanya: "Khayr is a talented center back who is also a natural leader and will fight to play right away. He is a great competitor, a good 1v1 defender and good at dealing with space in front or behind him. He has great attacking qualities as well with his calmness, composure, and range of passing." 

Trevor Carr (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) is a goalkeeper who transfers from Stony Brook University. He was part of the Seawolf program for two seasons. During his senior year at Connetquot High School, Carr was named both All-Suffolk County and all-conference. 

Coach Moon on Carr: "Trevor is a goalkeeper who joined us this spring from Stony Brook. He has an unbelievable worth ethic and demands high standards for himself and his teammates. He is a very good shot stopper, competitor and reliable in the goal. He has helped improve the standard of the team immensely this spring." 

Will Saxon (Vienna, Va.) is a right back from McLean High School. As a senior, he was named second-team All-Met by the Washington Post. Saxon's club team was SYC MLS Next. 

Coach Moon on Saxon: "Will joined us this spring as a freshman. He has great athleticism, work ethic, and competitive spirit. He's a great 1v1 defender, extremely coachable and constantly wants to get better. He will compete to play at right or left back this fall." 

Finally, Parker Moses (Endicott, N.Y.) is a center midfielder from nearby Maine-Endwell High School. As a senior, he was named a United Soccer Coaches (USC) All-American, an honor reserved for just 90 players across the nation. Moses was also named to the 2025 All-East Region and All-State Teams. He helped the Spartans to the New York State (NYS) Final Four after capturing their first NYS Section 4 title since 2021.

Coach Moon on Moses: "Parker is one of the top local players to come out of the area. His soccer IQ, technique and athleticism allow him to be a threat in multiple positions whether it's in midfield or on the wing. He has a love for the game that brings enjoyment when you watch him play. He will add quality, flair, and a winning mentality to the team this fall."

Binghamton opens its 2026 campaign on Aug. 20 at Mt. St. Mary's (Md.).
