Dear Alumni, Fans, and Friends of Binghamton University,
The Binghamton University Athletic Department would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU for your support and belief in our program.
As we strive for excellence both on and off the field, we must always maintain Binghamton University’s rich tradition of athletics integrity and conduct our affairs within the bounds of NCAA regulations. As dedicated fans, we ask for your commitment to rules compliance and your strict adherence to all regulations set forth by the NCAA and the America East Conference.
You, as a representative of athletics interests, play an integral role in the success of our programs.
However, the NCAA has limited the role that you, as a BEARCAT fan, may take with respect to prospective and enrolled student-athletes.
Just as an example, did you know that the NCAA has legislation which specifically addresses providing occasional meals to enrolled student-athletes? This along with many other important
"things you should know" are highlighted in the subsequent pages.
If you should have any questions concerning your role as a representative of athletics interests or your relationship with a prospective or enrolled student-athlete at Binghamton University, please contact:
David Eagan
Associate Athletic Director for Compliance

Again, thanks for your continued support and interest in Binghamton University athletics! GO BEARCATS! As always, remember to "ASK BEFORE YOU ACT".
