Women’s Basketball Completes Coaching Staff

Jeanette Anderson hired as Coordinator of Player Development

VESTAL, N.Y. – Binghamton University women's basketball head coach Linda Cimino has announced the hiring of Jeanette Anderson as the Coordinator of Player Development. She joins a staff that also includes Associate Head Coach Mike LeFlar as well as Assistant Coaches Torey-Northup Jones and Leah Truncale.

Anderson is a 2014 graduate of Caldwell College, where she played under Cimino. She was a 2014 NCAA Division II All-American as well as the Daktronics East Player of the Year that same year. In addition, she was also named both the CACC and ECAC Player of the Year. Anderson had the rare distinction of scoring 1,000 points and also grabbing 1,000 rebounds during her career.

After graduating with a degree in communications, she played professionally in Finland for Tampereen Pyrinto from July-October 2014.

"I'm excited for Jeanette to join our staff," Cimino said. "As a player, she was loyal, hard-working and passionate, which are the same qualities I look for when putting a staff together. Her knowledge of the game and ability to develop as a player will be a great asset to the players in this program."

Binghamton opens its 2014-15 season on Nov. 14 at Akron at 6 p.m.
