VESTAL, N.Y.—The Binghamton swimming & diving teams completed their double-dual meets at the West Gym today. The men's team went 1-1, defeating New Jersey Institute of Technology 216-75, and falling to Army 170.50-117.50. The women's team went 0-2, dropping to Vermont 229-67, and Army 225-59.
"It was a great win for the guys, and the women raced tough," remarked head coach Brad Smith. "Both teams raced pretty solid, there's a lot to build off of. The freshmen were outstanding. They were staying right up with Army's best swimmers. There was a lot to be proud of."
