Pascal Trappe and freshman midfielder
Harrison Weilbacher each scored a goal in the win over the Retreivers. Weilbacher is the current two-time America East Rookie of the Week.
Trappe ranks first on the squad with four goals and nine total points. He is tied for sixth in the America East with 0.36 goals per game. Weilbacher, meanwhile, leads Binghamton with four assists. He is also tied for sixth in the conference with 0.29 assists per game.
Junior goalkeeper
Robert Moewes leads the America East with 4.47 saves per game as well as a .807 save percentage. He also ranks second with five solo shutouts.
SCOUTING STONY BROOKStony Brook (6-6-3, 2-2-1) defeated No. 17 Hofstra on Tuesday night behind a pair of goals from Vince Erdei. Martin Giordano netted the other goal. Erdei and Giordano are now tied for the team lead with seven goals this season.
The Seawolves have won their last two matches, having beaten Hartford 1-0 last Saturday at home.
THE SERIES AGAINST STONY BROOKSince the two programs moved up to the NCAA Division I level in 2001, Binghamton leads the all-time series 8-6-3. Last year, Binghamton won 5-1 on Nov. 1 at the Bearcats Sports Complex. One week later, they tied the Seawolves 1-1 in the America East quarterfinals before winning the decisive shootout 4-3 in six rounds.
In the most recent meeting at Stony Brook, the two teams played to a 2-2 tie on Oct. 16, 2013.
WORTH NOTINGAmerica East programs defeated two ranks teams on Tuesday. In addition to Stony Brook, New Hampshire downed No. 24 Dartmouth 2-0.
