Women's Basketball Returns Home to Face Cedar Crest

Bearcats and Falcons Tip Off at 2 p.m. on Saturday

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (1-2) lost 76-46 at Bucknell on Wednesday night. Sophomore guard Imani Watkins netted a game-high 20 points, marking the fourth time in her career that she has reached the 12-point mark. Senior guard Kim Albrecht added 12 points while freshman guard Rebecca Carmody added a career-high 11 rebounds.

- Watkins leads the Bearcats with 14.3 points and is second with 7.0 rebounds per game. Sophomore forward Alyssa James ranks second with 13.0 points per night while Albrecht is pumping in 10.6 points per game. Carmody, meanwhile, leads the squad with 7.6 rebounds per game. 

- Cedar Crest (0-4) lost to Bryn Athyn 73-46 on Thursday night. Tenille Stewart, who leads the Falcons with 14.8 points per game, finished with 23 points and seven rebounds. Shemeca Thompson pulled down a team-high 12 rebounds. She has a team-high 10.8 rebounds per game so far this season.

- This season marks the first-ever meeting between Binghamton and Cedar Crest in women's basketball

- In all three games this season, Binghamton has had a player grab at least 10 rebounds. Sophomore forward Alyssa James had 10 against Michigan last Saturday while sophomore guard Watkins grabbed 11 against NJIT on Monday and freshman guard Rebecca Carmondy posted 11 against Bucknell on Wednesday. 

- Freshman guard Rebecca Carmody is the current America East Rookie of the Week. In the season opener at Michigan on Saturday, she finished with 17 points, seven rebounds, a team-high five assists, two blocks and a pair of steals.
