Women's Basketball Returns Home to Face Nyack on Tuesday

STORY LINES

Binghamton (3-7) was defeated 69-60 at Sacred Heart on Saturday. Sophomore guard Imani Watkins scored a game-high 24 points, marking the fourth time this season she has reached the 20-point mark in scoring. Sophomore forward Alyssa James finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds, giving her five double-doubles for the season. Senior guard Kim Albrecht, meanwhile, added 11 points.
 
James ranks first on the team and third in the America East with 17.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. She also leads the conference and ranks No. 27 in the nation in blocks (2.5 bpg.). In addition, her five double-doubles rank No. 11 in the nation. 

Watkins is tied for sixth in the America East in scoring (15.8 ppg.), fourth in assists (4.6 apg.) and is tied for sixth in steals (2.0 spg.). Senior guard Kim Albrecht is averaging 10.7 points per game and is third in the America East with 2.0 three-point field goals per game.

Nyack (4-6) lost 67-54 to visiting Bloomfield on Saturday. Raven Makins finished with 16 points and 14 rebounds while Mariah Brown had 14 points. For the season, Jamie McKeither leads the Warriors with 14.9 points per game. Makins is second with 14.4 points and is pulling down a team-best 9.4 rebounds per game. 
 
Binghamton and Nyack meet for the first time in program history. The Warriors, which compete at the NCAA Division II level, are a member of the Central Athletic Collegiate Conference (CACC).
