STORY LINES

- Binghamton (3-5) beat Colgate 63-56 on Monday night at the Events Center to remain unbeaten on its home court. Sophomore guard Imani Watkins scored a game-high 23 points while sophomore forward Alyssa James finished with 13 points and a career-high 14 rebounds. Senior guard Kim Albrecht added 14 points.
 
- James ranks first on the team and fifth in the America East with 15.5 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. She also leads the conference in blocks (2.6 bpg.) and is tied for eighth in steals (1.9 spg.). Watkins is sixth in the America East in scoring (15.4 ppg.), fourth in assists (4.4 apg.) and fifth in steals (2.1 spg.). Albrecht is averaging 11.4 points per game and is third in the America East with 2.0 three-point field goals per game.

- Columbia (5-3) dropped a pair of games at the Arizona State Tournament this past weekend, losing 88-75 to Toledo and 70-49 to the host Sun Devils. Camille Zimmerman leads the Lions with 17.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.9 steals per game. Tori Oliver is second on the squad with 10.9 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
 
- Binghamton and Columbia meet for the first time in 13 years. In the most recent game, the Lions defeated the visiting Bearcats 75-65 on Dec. 9, 2002. Columbia leads the all-time series 3-1. The lone Bearcat victory was a 78-34 decision on Jan. 6, 2001.
 
- Freshman guard Rebecca Carmody, who was named the America East Rookie of the Week on Nov. 16, continues her solid rookie season. Through eight games, she is averaging 8.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game. 

- Freshman guard McKayla Hernandez drained three clutch three-point field goals in the first half of the Bearcats' win over Colgate. It marked her career high in scoring. For the season, she ranks third on the team with 2.1 assists per game and is tied for second with 1.9 steals per game.
