WESTPOINT, N.Y. - The Binghamton women's tennis team secured a 6-1 win over Sacred Heart on Saturday afternoon at West Point. The win marked the Bearcats' first dual match of the year.

Binghatmon took two of the three doubles matches and five of the six singles matches. 

Junior Sara Kohtz and senior Katerine Medianik defeated Taylor Gurda and Sabrina Navarro 6-3 and second doubles while sophomore Annie DiMuro and freshmen Olga Ostrovetsky won 6-2 win against Nicole Rydzewski and Emma Pezzullo at third doubles.

Kohtz went on to score a 7-5, 2-6, 10-7 win over Lindsey Post at first singles. In addition, junior Aexis Tashiro defeated Paige Olson 6-1, 6-2 at second singles while  jumior Agatha Ambrozy beat Sabrina Navarro 6-2, 6-1 at third singles.

Binghamton was scheduled to play Seton Hall on Sunday but that match has been postponed due to weather conditions.
