VESTAL, N.Y.- The Binghamton men's lacrosse team has made another change to its schedule. The Bearcats will face #13 Cornell at the Greater Binghamton Sports Complex on Tuesday, February 24. The non-conference game is slated for a 3 p.m. faceoff.
The match was originally scheduled to be played at Cornell, but inclement weather has forced a location change. Now, BU will play its first-ever indoor game in the 14-year history of the program.
The Bearcats are 0-1 following a 12-9 loss to Marist on Sunday.
Sean Gilroy tallied four goals and an assist, while
Zach Scaduto scored three times.
Tucker Nelson dished out three assists, becoming the school's all-time assists leader. Nelson, a senior, has 58 career assists, moving alone into first place on the career list, passing Tyler Perrelle.
Cornell has a 1-1 record this season. It lost at Syracuse, 14-6, and then defeated Hobart, 16-8, at the Greater Binghamton Sports Complex on February 20. Connor Buczek leads the Big Red with six goals, while John Edmonds and Matt Donovan have put up five each.
