VESTAL, N.Y.- The Binghamton men's lacrosse team will host Hobart on Saturday, February 28, at the Bearcats Sports Complex. The non-conference game is slated for a noon faceoff.

Binghamton enters the match with an 0-2 record. It dropped a tight 12-9 contest to Marist in the season opener and then fell, 17-10, to #13 Cornell earlier this week. Redshirt freshman
Sean Gilroy scored four goals in his first game as a Bearcat and then
J.T. Hauck and
Tucker Nelson each tallied a pair of goals against Cornell.

Hobart is 1-1 in 2015. It won, 12-8, at Siena before losing, 16-8, to Cornell. Alex Love became the school's Division I career leader in goals, recording his 109
th goal in the loss to the Big Red.

BU won, 11-10 in overtime, at Hobart last season.
Paul O'Donnell scored with three seconds left in the first OT period, lifting the Bearcats to a win. Nelson finished with two goals and three assists in the game. O'Donnell posted a hat trick. Love paced the Statesmen with five goals.

In 2015, Gilroy leads Binghamton with five goals. Nelson has two goals and four helpers. The senior became BU's career assists leader in the season opener, breaking a tie with Tyler Perrelle, who graduated in 2013. Nelson now has 59 career assists in 29 contests with BU. The native of Vestal, New York, has put up at least a point in each of his 29 matches as a Bearcat, the 14
th-longest streak in the nation.
