HAMDEN, Conn.—The Binghamton (0-1) women's lacrosse team will play their second game of the season on Saturday, as they travel to Quinnipiac (0-2). The Bearcats are playing their first game in three weeks, while the Bobcats play their third game in a week. Game time for this non-conference matchup is set for 1 p.m. at QU Lacrosse Turf Field.
QUICK HITS- Senior captain Renee Kiviat currently has a streak of five straight games with a goal, dating back to last season. During that streak she has tallied 11 of the Bearcats' 33 goals.
- Tiffany Ryan scored two goals in her first game as a Bearcat, becoming the first freshman to score multiple goals in her debut since last season's home opener against Howard. In that game Brianne Arthur had five goals and Liz Hoeffner had two in the 20-6 win.
- Ryan was the only freshman starter, and one of three first year players to see time in Binghamton's opener. Stefanie Frolo and Shannon McGowan came off the bench for the Bearcats.
- Junior goalkeeper Erin McNulty made ten saves in the Bearcats first game. Last season she finished second in the conference with 6.29 saves per game.
LAST TIME OUTIn their first game of the season Binghamton fell to no. 10/12 Ohio State 18-5. The Bearcats were behind 13-1 at halftime, but battled back and only trailed the Buckeyes 5-4 in the second half.
Tiffany Ryan contributed two goals, while
Renee Kiviat,
Brianne Arthur, and
Samantha Karner each had one apiece. Karner and

SCOUTING QUINNIPIACThe Bobcats finished 2-13 last year, and have started this season with losses against Albany and Yale. Kyra Ochwat leads the team with four goals and five points, while Kyle Larkin has stopped 18 shots in net. Quinnipiac plays four America East teams this season: Albany, Binghamton, Vermont, and UMass Lowell.
ALL-TIME SERIESQuinnipiac leads the all-time series 6-1, but Binghamton has won the most recent matchup. Last March at the Bearcats Sports Complex the two teams were tied nearing the end of regulation, when
Brianne Arthur scored on a free position shot with just six seconds remaining. The goal was Arthur's third of the game, as her and
Allie Rodgers enjoyed hat tricks in the 9-8 victory.
