Sabrina Boyle of Binghamton women's lacrosse was named America East Rookie of the Week for her performance against Bryant, the league announced Monday afternoon.
The freshman midfielder was awarded the honor after her three-goal outing against the Bulldogs this past Saturday. This was Boyle's second hat trick of the season, her first came in a 18-7 victory over AE opponent UMass Lowell earlier this season. She was deemed AE Rookie of the Week for that performance as well.
Boyle ended her freshman campaign with 16 goals in 15 appearances, with one game winning goal and an 82.9 shot on goal percentage.
