VESTAL, N.Y.- The Binghamton men's lacrosse team hosts #16 Towson on Saturday, March 21. The non-conference bout is set for a 1 p.m. faceoff at the Bearcats Sports Complex.
BU is 2-3 on the year, including a pair of road wins in its last two outings. Binghamton won, 13-4, at UMBC on March 14.
Tyler Deluca scored a career-high four goals and
Paul O'Donnell put up three goals and an assist.
Tucker Nelson recorded a goal and three assists. The senior has tallied at least a point in all 32 games of his BU career, marking the 11
th-longest active streak in Division I. Nelson has 99 career points as a Bearcat.
Towson sports a 5-3 record, having fallen, 7-6, to #17 Ohio State on March 17. Joe Seider led the Tigers with three goals, while Tyler White made 12 saves in net.
Nelson paces the Bearcat attack with seven goals and 14 assists. O'Donnell has a team-high 11 goals this season.
George Deignan has posted 15 groundballs and six caused turnovers this year.
Tanner Cosens has started each of the last two matches in goal, totaling 21 saves in two road victories.
Seider leads Towson with 19 goals in eight contests. Andrew Hodgson has 15 goals and four assists, while Spencer Parks has 12 goals and six helpers. White is allowing 7.1 goals per game in eight starts.
