STORY LINES

Binghamton (9-9, 0-0 AE) returns to the playing field for the first time in three weeks. The Bearcats' last game was a 7-5 win over Lipscomb on March 15 in the final day of the N.C. State/Hyatt Invitational. Junior outfielder Sydney Harbaugh belted the winning grand slam in that game.

Stony Brook (10-10, 0-0 AE) dropped a home doubleheader to Rutgers on Wednesday 7-5, 1-0. Bria Green leads the Seawolves with a .429 batting average.

Last season, the Seawolves took two out of three games from the Bearcats in Binghamton, sweeping a doubleheader on May 3 (1-0 and 16-10) before losing 6-4 in the series finale the previous day. Stony Brook won the America East regular-season title last season as well as the tournament championship the previous year.
