WEST HARTFORD, C.T. – The Binghamton's women's tennis team split of pair of matches over the weekend. The Bearcats defeated Hartford 5-1 but lost to Stony Brook 5-2. The match against the Seawolves was a make-up event that was originally scheduled for last weekend.

Sophomore Annie DiMuro won both of her singles matches. Against Hartford, she beat Meredith Heitland 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 at fourth singles. She then followed with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Elizabeth Tsvetkov of Stony Brook at fifth singles.

There were no doubles matches played against Hartford due to time constraints.

Binghamton is 8-8 in dual matches this season.

Up next for the Bearcats is a road trip to UMBC for a 10 a.m. match on April 12.
