STORY LINES

- Binghamton (9-11, 4-3 AE) was defeated 62-51 at UMBC on Wednesday night. Senior guard Kim Albrecht netted a game-high 20 points, marking the second straight contest in which she has reached the 20-point mark. Sophomore forward Alyssa James added 18 points, six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a pair of steals. She has now reached double figures in scoring 17 consecutive games.

- Sophomore guard Imani Watkins currently ranks fourth in the America East with 16.7 points per game. She is also third with 4.3 assists and fourth with 2.4 steals per game. James ranks sixth in the America East in scoring (16.4 ppg.) and is tied for third in rebounding (8.6 rpg). She also ranks first in blocks per game with 3.0. Albrecht is averaging 12.3 points per game and ranks first in the America East with a .430 three-point field goal percentage as well as a .909 free throw percentage.

- Maine (15-7, 6-1 AE) has won its past three games, including a 61-43 home victory over Hartford on Wednesday. Sigi Koizar, who ranks fifth in the America East with 16.5 points per game, poured in a game-high 24 points against the Hawks. Bella Swan added 14 points.

- Liz Wood leads the Black Bears with 7.5 rebounds per game, an average that also ranks sixth in the America East. As a team, the Black Bears lead the conference in scoring defense, allowing just 51.3 points per game. 

- Maine leads the all-time series 17-13, having won the past six meetings. Last season, the Black Bears won 70-48 at home on Jan. 19, 70-56 at the Events Center on Feb. 21 and 78-71 in an America East Tournament quarterfinal game on March 7, also at the Events Center. Binghamton's last victory in the series was a 67-47 win at home on Jan. 20, 2013.
