WEST POINT, N.Y.- The Binghamton women's tennis team beat Sacred Heart, 5-2, Saturday afternoon. Annie DiMuro, Agatha Ambrozy, Shea Brodsky, Olga Ostrovetsky, and Paulina Tafler were all winners in the match held at Army West Point's Lichtenberg Tennis Center.
 
Ostrovetsky rallied past Taylor Gurda in their #5 singles match. Gurda took a 7-5 decision in the opener, but Ostrovetsky responded with a 6-0 wipeout and then a tight 7-5 victory in the third.
 
At #3, Ambrozy picked up a three-set win over Paige Olson. Ambrozy won the first set, 6-1, but Olson came back with a 6-0 win in the second. Ambrozy posted a 6-4 win in the decisive set, earning a point for the Bearcats.
 
DiMuro handled Lindsey Post, 6-2 and 6-4, in their #2 bout. Brodsky notched a 6-2, 6-3 win over Olivia Podsiebierski in their #4 contest. Tafler's registered a 6-4, 6-4 win over Claudia Ruiz.
 
Ambrozy and Ostrovetsky teamed up for a 6-1 win in their doubles match, but the Pioneers claimed victories in the other two doubles contests, giving Sacred Heart the team point.
 
Binghamton wraps up its weekend at Army with a match against Seton Hall tomorrow. The contest is slated for a 10 a.m. start.
