STORY LINES
- Binghamton (6-3-5, 1-1-2 AE) has had a week off since its 2-1 overtime loss to New Hampshire on Oct. 15. Redshirt junior back
Charlie Novoth scored the Bearcats' goal. He is now tied for third on the team with two goals and is also third with eight total points. The Bearcats' RPI of No. 55 is their highest of the year.
- Vermont (9-5-1, 1-3-0 AE) has been off since its 1-0 loss to Hartford, also on Oct. 15. Brian Wright is tied for fourth in the America East with seven goals, is first with nine assists and second with 23 points. The Catamounts enter the game with a No. 43 RPI ranking.
- Binghamton and Vermont have arguably been each other's biggest rivals over the past decade. The two squads have played in three of the last 10 America East championship games and four Homecoming games at the Bearcats Sports Complex.
Vermont leads the all-time series 8-6-2.
- Last year, the Bearcats won 2-1 at Vermont on Oct. 8, on the Catamounts' Homecoming Weekend. In the America East title game, however, a first-half goal by Brian Wright propelled the host Catamounts to a 1-0 win.
