VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton women's basketball team concluded its exhibition schedule with a 60-49 win over St. Rose on Friday night at Dr. Bai Lee Court at the Events Center.
The Bearcats had a pair of players reach double figures in scoring. Junior center
Alyssa James finished with a game-high 24 points while junior guard
Imani Watkins added 12 points.
James also added six rebounds, a game-high three blocks and three steals. Watkins, meanwhile, led all players with nine rebounds, six assists and five steals.
Karissa Birthwright led St. Rose with 16 points. Also reaching double figures were Ashley Vanderwall with 14 points and Taylor Nazon with 10 points.
Binghamton opens its regular season at home against Bucknell next Friday. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
